I was in the park one afternoon where I'd photographed any number of ducks, geese and squirrels. This was my first time to see a Heron, so I stopped to see what he doing. About every minute or so he would thrust his head into the water only to come up with nothing. I began watching his behavior so I could time when his head came up out of the water. I took several shots to check my timing and to my surprise he came up with a fish. It was a very fun experience. I call those kind of experiences a "God experience".
